Overall great place to be

Pros

I was able to start out with a good experience for the job, but was able to get training to not only expand on what I did know but get training on a wide array of things on both maintenance and budgeting sides of the job. I’ve also been given opportunities to help train new techs and help with their boot camps which has been a great experience overall, to meet other people in the company but help them with their job with things they may need help with.

Cons

Not all residents keep up with cleanliness so every apartment is a roll of the dice on how it looks/what needs to be repaired or replaced.

Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear that you’ve benefited from training opportunities that expanded your skills on both the maintenance and budgeting sides, as well as the chance to help train new techs. We understand the challenges of unpredictable apartment conditions and appreciate your adaptability in handling them. Your contributions make a real difference—thank you!

Pros

You are valued and trusted to accomplish your goals from day one. Feedback is given directly, positive or negative you will know where you stand performance wise. Good training and development practices, this extends to both professional skills and personal character development. Clear expectations during projects. You won't have to deal bureaucratic bottle-necking issues that plague other companies. You are rewarded for exceeding expectations.

Cons

It can be intense. The goals we set are supposed to be difficult to achieve, we don't aim for mediocrity.

Pros

I have been working for TCG for almost a year. From the beginning, I have learned that The Connor Group is a company built with a relentless pursuit of success. My peers are highly competitive but are focused on doing only the right thing for the company's long-term success and to take care of our residents. Training opportunities have demonstrated TCG’s interest in my development from day one. Pros: - TCG lives our core values and make them mean something - TCG inspires to you challenge yourself and hold yourself accountable to an incredibly high level - TCG recruits and hires world class talent that operates with efficiency - Company growth and advancement - Open communication across all company levels - Clear expectations from the beginning

Cons

Only Con of working with TCG is that you will work long hours because it is the right thing to do for the business or residents. However, correct planning allow you to achieve a work/life balance and is a common discussion as people count in the organization.
