Emmes has a good work life balance. Emmes does a good job of training employees.

Cons

The pay is not competitive and general below its competitors. The benefits used to be good but they have since removed the unlimited approved leave and the profit sharing. The company bonus is about 0.5-3% of your salary depending on performance. The annual salary increases for good performance is sometimes lower than what the local and federal government gives to their employees. Sometimes it has been below the inflation rate. Not a lot of upward mobility for staff.

Emmes did not let staff know of potential lay-offs. Company laid-off 20% of U.S.-based staff in 1 day. Caught the whole company by complete shock.
