The Perks Outweigh the Quirks

Pros

-Great associates -Beautiful facility, complete with Starbucks, café, gym, outdoor track, access to park/bike paths -36.5 hour work week that is generally respected -Car program (for those who qualify) -Competitive benefits -Lots of little perks associated with affiliation with Toyota/Toyota Center (like ability to buy tickets to shows at Toyota Center well in advance, the occasional free Rockets ticket, etc.) -Good resources in organizational development/training

Cons

-The company is privately held and is generally pretty secretive about things, so associates don't have a good understanding of why decisions are made -The executive leadership is not very dynamic or outward-facing, and there doesn't seem to be a strategic vision for the organization. -Since the company is a shared services organization, associates don't always feel ownership or involvement in the companies they support. -Individual career development/advancement opportunities are severely lacking. -The basis for compensation seems unclear, but seems to mostly be based on what people made before they came to the company. I think there are people in similar positions making very different amounts.

Pros

Vehicle Program-Qualified management personnel have the option of leasing a vehicle from the company. Amazing Campus Remarkable Potential-An honest return to 'The Values" would reap rewards

Cons

Hyper-Political Environment, driven by leadership Formerly a high integrity workplace. Rapid decline after FG.'s departure. Executive management manipulates headcount and budget and siphons into personal bonus structure.

Pros

Great Gym, On-site Starbucks, A few great people....

Cons

Upper Management is a joke. The treatment of women is disgusting. The politics & lack of ethics is disgusting... They will do anything to hide things from the dealers... People that are scum will get promoted... Upper management twists things around to benefit themselves and elevate themselves....
