Pros

Geneva has a great mission and there are some great/dedicated employees. So the organization has potential….

Cons

Unfortunately, the organization has a lack of effective leadership, lack of training, lack of infrastructure, lack of support and accountability. 😞

Pros

This company pays more than other CRC positions, and has room for promotion within. Sometimes has flexible hours.

Cons

I've had the worst clinical project managers here, that's not to say all managers are horrible here but my team consisted of toxic coworkers and incompetent managers. I learned a lot about what not to do as a manager, and to deal with incredibly difficult coworkers. I've heard that other employees switched teams and that was the only reason they could stay with this company so it obviously depends. Also, I was hired and only had a quick phone call with the project manager who definitely told me what I wanted to hear in order to take the job - so make sure you are given a real interview with the team you would be working with.

Pros

The Geneva Foundation is a non-profit that manages research projects on behalf of the Department of Defense. They are a really good company to work for. Management is very easy to contact and are very supportive. The work is varied and interesting. Great benefits.

Cons

Because all projects are grant-funded, it can mean that projects end and there may not be other suitable projects available. I lost my job there, not because I wanted to leave, not because Geneva wanted to lose me, but because there was not suitable work available.
