Pros

Working in the accounting department at Global Orphan Project, I’ve experienced firsthand the warmth and unity that permeate every corner of our team. Every prayer and check‑in is a simple gesture, but it sets a tone of genuine care and togetherness. I often get to collaborate closely with both our finance leaders and field staff, ensuring every dollar is tracked and honored with absolute integrity. What truly moves me is how our numbers connect to real lives: I’ve seen budget lines become meals for children, vocational training in Haiti, and supplies for families in crisis. It’s not just about spreadsheets—it’s about being part of a mission that builds community with kindness, accountability, and love.

Cons

None at the current time.

Pros

Mission with eternal impact: Every day, you’re helping connect churches with families in crisis, and you see real lives changed because of it. It's not charity—it’s Care-Sharing, and it’s transforming communities. Values that matter: Courage, Humility, and Excellence aren’t just written on the wall—they’re lived out in decisions, conversations, and expectations. Culture of purpose and proximity: You’re not a cog in a machine—you’re part of a movement. Whether you’re in tech, operations, or field support, your work is directly tied to stories of hope. Spirit-led leadership: Strategic and prayerful. Bold and transparent. Vision is clear, and there’s deep conviction about staying anchored in the assignment God gave us.

Cons

The pace is real: If you’re looking for a 9-to-5 clock-in, clock-out role, this isn’t it. The work is demanding because the mission is urgent. Tension between ministry and scalability: As we grow, there’s a constant wrestle between keeping things deeply relational while expanding nationally and now internationally. Not always easy—but worth the wrestle. Stretch roles: You may wear more hats than your title suggests. Great for growth—but it can be overwhelming without clarity and support.

Thank you for this powerful reflection and for the faithful leadership that continues to shape who we are. Your words are not only a reminder of where we’ve come from but a charge to keep moving forward with clarity, courage, and conviction. We’re grateful for a mission that invites all of us—regardless of role or tenure—into something that’s bigger than ourselves. The tension, the pace, the stretch… they’re real, and so is the transformation that comes with staying close to the “why.” Thank you for continuing to cast vision, lead with humility, and remind us that our small daily "yes" connects to an eternal purpose. —The GO Project Team
