Pros

My interview process with smooth and simple and the recruiter kept in contact with me throughout. The on-boarding / pre-employment items were simple. There is opportunity to advance/move within the company and as well as a lot of people with long tenure, which says a lot to me. Senior management is approachable and knows where they are leading the company. Guthrie offers great benefits and a work/life balance.

Pros

I genuinely believe that Guthrie provides wonderful career opportunities. There are robust early career opportunities where new professionals can learn and grow within their new profession; mid/ late career opportunities that leverage and promote the experiences and knowledge that one has gained over the life of their professional career and even "encore careers" that provide retirees the opportunity to come back to the work force at a pace and schedule that meets their needs.

Cons

Honestly, I can't identify a downside. The health care industry provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact to those that it serves. Guthrie provides excellent employment opportunities within the communities it serves... you truly can have it all here... career progression while providing exceptional care!

M-F. no weekends, no holidays.

Cons

Horrible leadership. Very low wage for LPN's. No room for growth in clinic setting as supervisor manages multiple locations without and in between leadership role.
