Pros

I spent 3 years dreading my old job. I persistently pursued a job at the Hoth because I liked their transparency and culture. This job has honestly changed my life. I am happier every second of every day because I get to work with such intelligent, fun people. The office is modern and the views are spectacular. Management honestly cares about each employee and their lives. This company is a success rocketship and it's not slowing down anytime soon. Cute dogs in office Snacks But, the people are what makes this job amazing. I have not thought of pay since the day I started because I love working here.

Cons

Elevators suck. Things move fast here can seem easy to fall out of the loop if you are not constantly aware.

Pros

I feel very lucky to be part of this company because of the amazing work culture they've built. The HOTH places a strong emphasis on recognizing and rewarding their employees, making it a core aspect of their approach. I've personally experienced the impact of this, having received a promotion within just two years of joining. Yes, the job can be challenging at times, but knowing that your hard work and dedication will always be acknowledged/rewarded is incredibly motivating. For the Campaign Manager pay, they offer a tier-based salary system ranging from $40,000 to $60,000, with several opportunities throughout the year for raises, allowing you to continually progress and increase your earning potential. The compensation structure is designed to motivate CMs to maintain strong client relationships, and management is consistently striving to better our pay to align with our expertise/experience. As for any company improvements, they are constantly taking in our feedback and working to enhance their products/services, making us all feel like we have a voice - which is something I can't say for a lot of companies. In addition to the culture, The HOTH values work-life balance. With a standard 40-hour workweek (and no pressure for overtime) they understand the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between your personal and work life. I can personally attest to this because of the constant kindness and support I receive from my manager, who is undeniably one of the standout reasons why working here is truly amazing. All in all, I'm very grateful to be part of The HOTH, where I feel valued and appreciated everyday.

Cons

Offering additional training programs and/or workshops to everyone in the company (especially those who don't know SEO) would enhance the work culture and empower individuals to achieve even greater success in their careers.

Pros

Right out of college, I had no portfolio to land any of the specialised writing jobs I wanted. Working for The HOTH is best treated like a freelance internship — build your portfolio and get paid doing it, but don’t expect great pay. Honestly the training alone makes it worth starting your freelance journey with The HOTH. You have to be good at teaching yourself, but they give you adequate documents and there’s a great community in the Slack channel and Facebook group to help you every step of the way. You learn enough about SEO in a short amount of time to boost your resume immensely. It’s also pretty fun working for them. They’re super reasonable about vacations and life emergencies.

Cons

The pay is not sustainable if you’re not great at pumping out articles. If you can work fast, you can make a lot of money. But this is not the kind of job you wanna put tons of research and meticulous care into. I made the mistake of doing this and I ended up only making about $10/hr because of it. If you can spit out decent quality content in a short amount of time, this is for you. Otherwise, treat it as a growing stage and build your portfolio (remember to de-index links) and figure out what your niche specialty will be.
