Great work environment with good people and quality services
Pros
- The HT Group really believes in its mission/vision/values and it shows in the quality of service they provide and in the feedback from customers. - Once you get settled in, it really is like working with a big family. You'll spend time with your coworkers outside of work and actually enjoy it! Prepare to make life long friends. - You'll learn a lot. This is an environment for self starters to take their job and run with it. Upper management is very open to new ideas. - Lots of fun company events like Tailgate, holiday party and Giveback. - You will have lots of opportunities to volunteer and fundraise for worthy causes. - Fexible and understanding of needing time for personal life or family emergencies as long as you get your job done and don't abuse it. - Working here can be fun. Friendly pranks, nerf gun wars, and group lunch outings on occasion. - Quarterly birthday lunches and occasional breakfast tacos, donuts and colaches are nice. - Plenty of free parking!
Cons
- Health insurance is pretty pricey but gives good coverage. I think this is typical for the industry, though. - Sometimes things are unorganized or aren't planned well so you end up with last minute projects on tight deadlines. I think this will improve with the hire of the new President. - Communications could improve. Sometimes expectations can be vague or misleading. Again, likely to improve with the new President. - For me there was no structured process for raises and reviews, but I know they are working on a process for this now so it shouldn't be an issue in the future.
