Pros

Pay was higher than most companies in the same industry. Benefits were good or better than most companies. Transfer opportunies are always available

Cons

Lack of communication and organization among departments and the company. Not all employees were treated equally in terms of workload. A lot of separatism rather than a focus on company goals.

Salary was good, fellow employees sincere and try hard to get their jobs done.

Cons

Long hours, excessive meetings and interuptions to work and excessive reports that take time away from primary responsibilities. This company is paranoid - the AVP micro manages everything from behind the scenses and works thru intimidation. Work in this dept only if you like looking over your shoulder, no sleep and would like an ulcer.

I can't really think of a best reason to work there unless you consider they are the 2nd largest employer in Worcester. So, if you need a job and they are hiring...

Cons

Leadership is terrible. Employee retention is not a consideration. They feel like employees should feel priviledged to work there since they are 2nd largest employer in Worcester.
