Pros

The name speaks for itself. Company has been around for years.

Cons

Dealing with the HR team is the blind leading the blind. They waste candidates time in coming in for multiple interviews and not hire anyone. They won’t return phone calls or emails but they’re in the “business” in getting ppl jobs. Run away fast from this place

Pros

There is opportunity to make money as long as you put in the time and lots of energy. And be sure to party at every opportunity to be a team player. So lots of free food and alcohol. Has a number of strong connections to clients for the time being. That list is shrinking or at least being replaced with smaller less impactful and desirable clients.

Cons

Benefits are an issue as noted in other reviews. Expensive and no 401k match. Unlimited vacation isn't accurate. Actually there is no vacation plan and all vacation must be approved. No vacation is accrued because they don't want to pay out any when people leave. Which happens a lot. Turnover is a major issue with most high performers having moved on. The few remain high performers are figuring out their exit plan and how to navigate the overly restrictive non compete and just waiting for the right moment. Contractor benefits have been discarded such as training dollars or accrued vacation are no longer offered as the company is focusing on cash. The owners strategy of dollar up dollar down approach of trying to squeeze every last profit out of a deal is real where they will attempt to change the pay rate after you have accepted a rate and turned down other offers but haven't signed an actual contract. Same thing to their clients, changing the bill rate in order to keep the candidate. This company under previous leadership was people focused and the current new mgmt is solely focused on profits. This has turned into just another cliche staffing firm with no differentiators and aggressive sales tactics. Difficult to be successful with the low pay rate offered to contractors and high bill rate to clients. Intersect has turned greedy and lost their partner focus to both candidates and clients. Recruiting team has lost significant performers with strong networks and ability to execute.

Pros

The Intersect Group was supportive of candidate.

Cons

Unfortunately, once my contact ended, The Intersect Group was not able to match my qualifications and profile to another client, thereafter.
