Great place to work if you lack drive, have no desire to progress your career and enjoy having incompetent Directors and Managers steal your work and present it as their own

Cons

Culture, Leadership or Lack of, ex: Director of ROIC already failed as a plant manger and was fired was brought back to be the change agent to drive improvement?! Definiton of insanity is what? People laugh at him behind his back and cannot stand him yet he strolls around like he owns the place. What a joke!! And there is at least two examples lioke that in every dept!

Pros

Good compensation, excellent benefits. Managers are accessible and care about their employees. Trying to be innovators in a commodity business. There are opportunities to pursue various career paths, they encourage employees to own their careers and will work with those that take the initiative in this area. Strong safety focus. Have made good strides in the last few years, future looks strong.

Cons

They need to figure out what the culture is ultimately going to be - innovator or commodity focused. Right now, the innovation is almost case-by-case, some areas of the organization embrace it, others do not... some ideas turn quickly to projects while others languish, then suddenly can't move fast enough. Often new ideas are a middle to top push. Can be a silo mentality at times, not always good integration between functional areas.
