Great Company to work for, people are their greatest resource

Pros

Good work/family balance, fair compensation and good benefits. They value their people and invest in their training and development. They expect a lot, but its worth it.

Cons

Very slow moving, have to be patient for advancement. Things just don't change very quickly, at least in the administration side of the company, the production side may be different.

Pros

Respect hard work - opportunities are there but you must earn them, They promote from within when they can, Great strategic mission and vision, reality-based leadership, Customer focused with a conservative fiscal approach. Ethical and safety orientated.

Cons

"good old boy" network is strong in the production units, continuing to build their training and development programs - can be a bit slow, lag on some competitive benefit programs.

Pros

Good Pay, decent working conditions, good benefits,educational benefits,front line supervision knowledgeable, continous advancement available,retirement contibutions above average for most companys of equal size

Cons

Terrible senior management, so out of touch with the front line supervision and general workforce, its sadly comical. Example: VP in charge of Environmental, former job was Dow Chemical with no concept of safety or phosphate. Field Technicians workedin areas requiing 4 wheel drive trucks, dure to mud,water etc.. Senior Managment wanted to down size the vehicle fleet, suggested that they Technicians use their personal vehicles ( Kia ) really ?
