Pros

Good Pay, decent working conditions, good benefits, educational benefits, front line supervision knowledgeable, continous advancement available, retirement contibutions above average for most companys of equal size

Cons

Terrible senior management, so out of touch with the front line supervision and general workforce, its sadly comical. Example: VP in charge of Environmental, former job was Dow Chemical with no concept of safety or phosphate. Field Technicians workedin areas requiing 4 wheel drive trucks, dure to mud, water etc.. Senior Managment wanted to down size the vehicle fleet, suggested that they Technicians use their personal vehicles ( Kia ) really ?

Pros

Laid back culture, good work-life balance, down to earth executives, small company feel.

Cons

Hourly have negative view of engineers, people that should be let go are kept around, and there's some brown-nosers here and there that are somehow still promoted even though they don't do a good job.

A company with good intentions

Pros

The benefits are great, the CEO cares about the employees. The company is looking like they are on the upswing, so there is optimism and feeling of job security there.

Cons

Because the company used to be owned by Cargill, they had the luxuries of their systems and experience. Once separated, Mosaic was like a child who just got their training wheels taken off, shaky. There are many inefficiencies and kinks to work out. The HR department is lagging, IT is trying new systems. The lack of efficiencies/structure is also an opportunity for certain people. The company is conservative and not as adapted to the new millennials.
