      Pros

      I've been here for almost a month full time now. So far it's been a great experience. At large, the organization has a lot of direction so I've enjoyed working on my team. I feel like our actions are intentional and we are working toward our climate goals. The benefits are solid, and I'm happy with my salary. I am paid over 20k more than I would have been making in a similar position at a smaller nonprofit (instead, I'm making closer to what I would be in the private sector). I'm really happy I'm able to make my desired salary while working at a nonprofit with a clear mission. There is also a lot of room for growth and career development, which my manager emphasized. As a young professional, it's a great place to start my career in environmental policy.

      Cons

      So far, the only thing that has come up is I was asked to relocate because they wanted me to work in person part time, however, I haven't actually needed to come in in practice. I would have preferred to hold off on moving and save a little money, but oh well. That is more of an issue with my manager than the org at large, since TNC lets a lot of people work remotely.
