Great mission, great colleagues, frustrating leadership

Pros

Incredible mission and global conservation priorities; experience to work with smart and amazing people around the globe; respected organization - can be proud to work there. The organization is working to create a better culture. Not seeing that at chapter level. Many opportunities for growth, but oftentimes you will need to be willing to move. Great benefits.

Cons

Difficult leadership structure, churn and burn in many places, constant changes in organizational priorities and structure - causes confusion, frustration and creates culture of distrust. Management in chapters is inconsistent and accountability for upholding organizational values is oftentimes overlooked. Culture in some chapters is toxic. Too many really talented and successful professionals have been pushed out or left because they couldn't take it anymore.
