Great employer. They care about their staff and treat them fairly. It's a great place to learn and develop skills. They are very supportive of training and skill building.

Cons

Advancement can be difficult. Once again it's a great place to work, so folks stick around. There are however opportunities to move laterally and then vertically.

Pros

Smart, passionate people. Very committed to the mission doing critical work really needed by nature. Pragmatic and effective, truly bipartisan with influential leaders, donors and trustees who can get a seat at the table to champion nature.

Cons

Well established systems which can be cumbersome at times. We still manage to create great impact, but we can be a slow moving ship at times. People like working here, and leaders stay in their positions for decades providing limited career opportunities for other staff.
