Pros

Great culture and compensation. It's a learning organization that is continuing to evolve to meet this important moment in our climate and biodiversity crisis. The people are truly amazing.

Cons

It's a very large organization with systems and processes that come with that.

Pros

Everyone is very committed to the mission, enthusiastic about preserving nature and mitigating climate change

Cons

Your experience will very much depend on who the leader of your department is. Some are great. Some leaders are toxic and the behavior is tolerated because they have been there a long time, or because the CXOs like them. Also, if you work there, don’t expect to work 35 hours per week, as they claim. It’s widely understood and accepted that people have unreasonable workloads and work lots of extra hours.
