It's a government job

Pros

Great benefits. 8:30-5 work day- everyone leaves right at 5. Ample opportunity to buy football tickets. Free education benefits for you, 50% off for your family. Job security- you have to really try to get fired.

Cons

General apathy abounds- it's a government job. Anyone who is in the pension plan constantly talks how how long they until they can retire. Promotions are based on time in the job, not performance.

Pros

Flexible schedule, willing to work with your class schedule to accommodate the hours you want or need per week. No weekend work.

Cons

communication between management and student employees needs some work. Repetitive tasks that do not seem to hold value to the university.

Good people, good working environment, resources available in plenty, heart of the city, excellent pay, eligible to take courses from OSU

Cons

Not much of cons to working at the ohio state university. One would be, there is constant construction projects going around campus throughout the year. Public Movement is hindered
