Pros

OSU has great benefits for graduate students as well as full time employees. OSU is also committed to helping you get the most out of your education as well as employment. To be such a large school, it has a very small feel.

Cons

It's hard to navigate the university if you are new, and don't fully know what it is you want to accomplish.

Good flexible work environment where one can do innovative work. Ample opportunity to learn new technology and solve interesting problems.

Cons

Sometimes the supervisors are pretty much laid back and may not be around when they are needed to clarify some problems.

Pros

It is a big university. So there are many people you could collaborate with. The environment and the climate is good, not too hot in the summer, or too cold in the winter.

Cons

Traveling is not that convenient. You almost always need to fly somewhere first before you reach your destination. Not many things to do during your free time.
