      This job provides great experience working in a lab setting. It works with mixing chemicals and the preparation of labs.

      Cons

      The pay is low, but, the experience is much greater than the benefits that come from the position. This position is great for college students.

      Pros

      Great benefits and huge community of colleagues. Challenging to get a foot in the door but then most people make their career there. Always something to learn, do, see, experience.

      Cons

      Depending on discipline, unclear how to move up and leadership is more or less supportive of growth. Very bureaucratic and hierarchical although leadership is trying to change this going forward. Culture varies significantly depending on area working.
