Pros

The Outreach Team lives by the progressive values that they are fighting for. They offer good pay and benefits and bonuses for a job well done. I've worked with them for 6 months and have already received 2 substantial bonuses for hitting our campaign goals. In addition, The Outreach Team values a sensible work/life balance and is committed to making sure that staff can do this work long term. The company works with excellent clients and doesn't take on contracts with groups that don't share solid progressive values. I've had the opportunity to work on drug decriminalization campaigns as well as a voter registration drive in advance of the upcoming election. They are committed to justice, equity and inclusion in the workplace. There are a number of different working groups that meet weekly to address systemic racism and work to make the company more equitable and inclusive. They take the health and safety of their staff very seriously. During the pandemic they have worked really hard to implement health and safety protocols so that we can continue to do the essential work to strengthen our democracy while keeping the community and staff safe.

Cons

There is some uncertainty about future projects because donors and clients are hesitant to do on-the-ground field work with COVID-19 affecting communities across the country.

Pros

Very inspiring- the team made sure we knew what were were advocating for was important

Cons

Seems set up to burn people out, people often couldn't stay long and that seems expected because of the difficulty of the work
