Pros

My experience at TPC has been wonderful! The support offered behind the scenes is very valuable. It starts with the owner. He is very involved in the day-to-day operations of the company, and he has been available to assist when I have had a question for him. TPC has a Client Relations department that provides support for a wide array of needs, especially when I need help with addressing barriers to treatment. The Clinical Director is beyond amazing and willing to help! I have had her join meetings to help problem-solve some difficult scenarios. She regularly schedules check-in meetings with me to discuss my cases and provides feedback and the support I need to be successful. There is even a Community Relations Director who helps facilitate all the behind-the-scenes details for cases in schools and other community settings. She has been a wonderful resource to help with various needs I have had in working out the details to provide services for clients in community settings. Another helpful thing that TPC does is that the staffing team will send a list of RBTs who are interested in a case to the BCBA. This allows us to personally screen each RBT and choose the best fit for the client and us as clinicians. I have had multiple families comment that they love that I have been able to hand pick the RBT that will be working with their child. I could go on and on, but these are just some of the ways that TPC helps support us as clinicians to focus our time and energy on providing quality services to our clients and their family.

Cons

It is hard to label downsides to working at TPC, but I will give it an attempt! It takes awhile to learn who to talk to about various needs. What I have found though is if I send an email to the wrong people, they will forward it to the right person. So, I suppose that is not a huge downside! Sometimes it can be stressful to meet 35 hrs/wk, but I have found that if you are flexible and communicate barriers to meeting the 35 hrs/wk (e.g., RBT or family cancellations, etc.) and work on how to address the barriers, then it is not so stressful.
