Pros

The pay is great and you can create your own schedule. For me, they have enough available cases to maximize my availability. This is great if you are someone that can work at your own pace. You are allowed one hour each week to each client for treatment planning, which not a lot of companies provide. You have the ability to vet and choose your own RBTs but you are completely responsible to provide ongoing training to them.

Cons

As a BCBA starting my career, I wanted to learn and grow and I didn’t have the right guidance or supervisor to teach me. I never even got a training when I was hired. You were required to only work on what’s “medically necessary” by insurance companies and you needed to refer all your goals to the deficits of autism yet I had clients with other co morbidities. Also in this neurodiverse age,it didn’t feel okay to just focus on ASD.

Pros

- Pay was ok - Good support from the quality assurance team - Easy to reach my BCBAs

Cons

- Last minute cancellations happen often from families - You are paid for your hours worked. If a family cancels, you are left without work and now have a 3-6 hour gap in your day to figure it out. - There is disconnect from upper management and clinical. The company's profits are prioritized over client goodwill
