Pros

if you are lucky to be in a studio with nice people, that's a pro. that's about it.

Cons

drink the kool aid mentality. tried to raise issues about the workout inconsistencies and higher ups didn't care. tried to talk with my regional manager about why i wasn't happy with the company and was asked why i didn't just quit. they are looking for people to power through and not ask questions. the pay structure changed so much that i had no idea how much i should be getting paid or how i was getting paid. impossible to reach bonuses. they hire people with no experience and or PT certs (sometimes, some are real trainers who workout themselves) and it shows... it was a struggle to be there and overall gave me a lot of stress, very little money, and no work life balance. no diversity in upper management, but there are in the trainers... that should tell you a lot.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that you had a less-than-desirable experience at The Perfect Workout. We are a science-based company and only conduct exercise plans proven effective. You’re right that our pay structure has changed recently. We’ve developed a compensation plan that gives our personal trainers the opportunity to grow their income higher than our previous pay structure. To avoid any confusion on our new compensation structure, we’ve also launched a system for trainers to be able to see which compensation structure they are on. Candor like this helps us continuously improve our processes. Thank you for your time spent at The Perfect Workout.

Thank you for your feedback! You’re right that The Perfect Workout does provide great and effective workout plans. Our personal trainers are paid an hourly wage plus a commission for every workout they instruct. So, they are still paid hourly even if they are not training our members. Furthermore, most of our trainers do not work 6 days a week. However, they are welcome to do so if they wish to work more hours. Thank you for your time working with us and we wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors!

Pros

Clients are great and you can workout free as an employee.

Cons

Low pay, management has no idea how to treat employees, no PTO, no paid and no sick days. This company is so mismanaged it’s ridiculous. I worked here for 3 years and there was nothing put into motion to make the lives of employees better. Management will take advantage of hard workers, burn them out and doesn’t care how if they stay or leave.
