A toxic work environment. If you like having an environment where coworkers without basic IT skills are allowed to make wild and baseless accusations that you changed or broke something on the network based on nothing more than the fact you know more than they do, you might enjoy it here.
Half the staff has any IT or basic communication skills/eqituette but are given far too much responsibility and aren't held accountable. As a result, end users get upset, things aren't communicated or escalated internally or properly documented, and often, are handled incorrectly without your knowledge.
Bad attitudes, apathy, tempers, protectionism and unprofessional behavior observed and not dealt with by management, especially talking about former and sometimes current employees negatively and used as scapegoats to avoid accountability by co-workers and management alike. Communication is awful.
There's a bad culture of silos within silos, in and out of the IT dept. High turnover, an environment of general distrust and paranoia of others. Chaotic vendor integrations, massive disorganization, an extremely vulnerable and fragile infrastructure and zero accountability. Proper documentation simply doesn't exist here.
