Pros

- You learn to build bonds and trust with coworkers because management is not your friend and you have to look out for eachother - Hybrid flexibility - flexible PTO

Cons

- Feels like high school with Micromanagement - Favoritism within different teams - Constantly changing rules/regulations/processes - Your manager only looks out for themselves and will constantly throw you under the bus even for their wrongdoings - Management is receptive any feedback - Feels like a dictatorship - No growth path - You have to practically beg for a raise because it’s not automatically recognized

Cons

All companies have opportunities to improve. Ours are not unlike our customers. We need to continue to listen to each other and be nimble enough to make thoughtful yet quick data-driven decisions that align with our values. Leadership and professional development will impact our market share and healthy culture. We need more teammates who want to BLOOM where they are planted and be the change they want to see.

Pros

The culture at TRN has improved significantly since certain negative leaders left the company. The difference in the overall environment has been noticeable—it’s much more positive, collaborative, and supportive now. Leadership does listen to feedback. While not every suggestion can be implemented, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t considered. There are often bigger-picture factors that employees may not immediately see. Raises and recognition are absolutely possible for those who consistently perform and advocate for themselves. I’ve seen it happen firsthand. TRN encourages employees to bring solutions to the table rather than just frustrations. When people take that approach, they are heard and can make a real impact.

Cons

I won’t deny that in the past, there were leaders who didn’t foster a supportive environment. That negativity had a ripple effect, but thankfully, those individuals are no longer with the company, and things have improved. Not every idea or suggestion gets implemented, which can be frustrating. However, it doesn’t mean leadership isn’t listening—sometimes, decisions involve factors that aren’t always visible to everyone. Raises don’t happen automatically. It’s up to employees to advocate for themselves and demonstrate their value, which may not be the experience everyone is used to.
