Good minded people but did not follow through with integrity and honesty

pleasant people to work with good salary and benefits

Cons

they did not follow through with their word even with written agreements they were not straight forward and honest about the contracts and there was loopholes. they sadly did not work with honesty and integrity and that was very disappointing. Honesty is the only way to go.

Equal Work - Unequal Pay

Pros

Flexibility. Good for getting foot in the door for permenant position. Accessible, responsive HR staff.

Cons

Agency takes a ridiculous commison off what the school district pays them for your services. No benefits (although you can select a plan to be deducted from your hourly pay). District employees in same position made around 100k, by comparison after Stepping Stone took its share, my take away was just over 30k (pre tax). This is industry standard with any educational employment agency. Not just SSG.

Hiring process with company and school system was easy to follow.

Cons

Would have loved to meet the company HR team in person for the hiring process but it was convenient to be able to do it all online. Helpful staff that helped me all throughout the hiring process
