Pros

The Stepping stones group-ERA ED was a great company overall. The management team is supportive, responsive and ultimately has the employees best interest. They take time to train their employees and will continue to provide the same level of trainings throughout your time with them. They repose quickly to all your questions, never make you feel like you are not able to make mistakes or ask questions and check in on you, not only the work you are doing. They also provide work gatherings, supervision , and group supervision which provides great materials for your LCSW exam.

Cons

The work load can feel a little heavy at times, you get assigned clients until the very last day of school (you work only when school is in session) so at times that felt overwhelming. But the ERA ED team is constantly checking in on you, you can always talk with your supervisors about making any changes.

We also recognize that end-of-year workloads can be intense, and we're always working to balance caseloads and provide support. Your feedback means a lot!

Depending on what school district you're hired for, your placement could be one with a high caseload and minimal support.

Pros

Great job and department. I loved this school and the staff. Only issue was the district is not on the same page as the school.

Cons

My contract was cut short after I refused to work for the district only because pay was 1/2 as much as my agency.

Thank you for your feedback and for the meaningful work you've done. We’re so glad to hear you had a positive experience at the school and with your team. We understand how frustrating unexpected contract changes can be, especially when tied to compensation concerns. Your suggestion to provide better support in those situations is appreciated—we’ll take this to heart as we continue improving our placement and transition processes.
