Amazing and comprehensive training

Pros

Just finished the training and it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. The training team was so professional, my fellow counselors so inspiring, and I'm really impressed by how innovative and mission driven Trevor is. Especially with everything going on in the world, I'm so thankful Trevor exists to support LGBTQ kids!

Cons

Interview process took a long time. And I wish there was more flexibility in training times.

Pros

I've been a volunteer at Trevor for more than a year, answering calls on the Lifeline. Simply put: this place is awesome. The people rock, the work is so fulfilling. How many places can you go and actually know that you helped to literally save lives of people? All the tech transformation work is also really exciting. I'm so happy to see a places that wants to do good and is actually doing good with so much innovation.

Cons

I'd love to see more opportunities for volunteers to get to know each other. I know there have been several socials but I haven't been able to make all of them yet!

Inspiring mission and organization

Pros

The people are super smart, fun and interesting. I love the mission and the organization. I feel lucky to come in to work here every day.

Cons

I'll be honest: it can be tough working in an organization where the content and topic is so serious. But there's lots of support and INCREDIBLE health insurance (100% paid for by Trevor, which is new and something I've never seen at another non-profit), which makes it a lot easier.
