      Good place to work while still in school

      Pros

      Easy job if you are juggling school obligations The work is completely mindless You get quite a bit of free samples from vendors

      Cons

      Advancement opportunities are scarce even though management turns over quite often Communication with upper management (the corporate office) is inefficient

      More responsibility w/o more pay

      Pros

      Chance to move up in the company, as a temp key-holder you would have most of the same responsibilities as the Assistant Managers but would not receive a raise. They see this a a way of "proving" yourself to the company in performing the duties that you may carry.

      Cons

      It could be months before they can move you up. To really prove yourself they sometimes give you a gaol that you must improve, like, increasing the items a customer buys or getting more people to sign-up for the store cards. The company has also made A LOT of new policies since going public, so if RAPID change is your enemy STAY AWAY!!
