Pros

From a social perspective the community feel is definitely there, and most all people are easy to get along with and potential build relationships with outside of work.

Cons

Senior Leadership I've been apart of has been some of the worst I've experienced in my 10 years of construction. High turnover, poor team structure, and poorly managed/designed corporate training, all contribute to the propensity for team scope gaps on any project, and the lack of a more rigid and routinely monitored responsibility matrix amongst teams, only fosters confusion and routinely muddies the waters when it comes to expectations for each role.

Culture of not training employees

Pros

Good benefits. They cater lunch a lot.

Cons

There is a big culture of not training employees at all. So unless you have at least a few years of work experience or schooling in your field, don't expect to be trained. My supervisors interviewed me knowing that I had no direct experience in the position yet my training consisted of "these are the two emails you need to send every week and the people you need to send them to". I have had to teach myself everything and that includes their policies and procedures because there are no guides or training manuals. Expect to receive condescending and rude emails if you get something wrong.
