Pros

The insurance coverage at Walsh is very good and there are many different groups to choose from (Healthcare, Civil Work, Highway, and Hospitality.)

Cons

The management of staff when transitioning from project to project has become a problem. The trainings compared to other GC's are not as robust and comprehensive. The bonus structure at the company does not benefit the employee from the Project Engineer level all the way to the Project Manager Role.

Pros

There is a lot of professional development available (expected) for Walsh employees. They had a very good training platform for those new to project engineering.

Cons

It would be hard to stay with Walsh and not eventually spend a decent amount of time traveling or relocating.

Pros

Stable company, competitive pay (2017), excellent benefits, vast network of inter company resources, opportunity to advance.

Cons

Would’ve liked better over site and mentorship would to train and teach “the ropes”. More feedback.
