Pros

The onboarding experience amidst COVID was seamless, safe, and informative. Joining a new company during challenging times tends to amplify angst, but the HR and IT teams decreased my concern and created a great experience.

Cons

This comment is less of a con and general preference to have had the opportunity to meet everyone in person.

Welcome back to The Washington Post! We often see employees leave and then come back to help further the mission of a free press. Due to the pandemic, we've had to adapt to ensure a seamless virtual onboarding experience. We're glad you've experienced that!
