Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We're glad you've found The Washington Post a fun, exciting workplace with great people. We agree! Thanks for your feedback about the 401k match. We hear you and recently increased the company match for all eligible employees starting on January 1, 2019. In addition, we offer a Secure Retirement Account (SRA), which is a pension benefit fully funded by the company. We'll continue to look at ways to increase our benefits. Thanks again for the feedback and for being part of The Washington Post team.

Pros

Great atmosphere, the work is always interesting and rewarding, innovation is encouraged and constant

Cons

It is a pretty big company so it can be hard to get to know everyone. Departments tend to be pretty secluded. I was pretty sad they did not have an education allowance as well when I first started, but I learn so much on the job now that I have decided not to go back to school anyway.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review! Glad you're enjoying working at The Washington Post and are learning so much on the job. If you want on-the-job training, this is the place to do it! Also, thanks for your feedback. As a big company, we're working hard to create experiences for employees to connect, collaborate, and break down silos. Two such experiences are The Growth Project, where Posties come together around a career development topic, and What's Next, bringing Posties together to learn about innovative projects across the company. Hope you're able to partake in both! Thanks again for the feedback and for being part of The Washington Post team.
