It is currently a great time to work at The Post. There is a lot of growth potential and management seems to be interested in career development.

Cons

The communication between Departments could be better.

We take feedback seriously and have processes in place that encourage it: 1) Leadership training- we train managers to ask for feedback from their teams regularly, 2) Open door policy- our culture is not hierarchical and leaders at all levels have an open door policy, and 3) Pulse Survey- every year we ask employees for feedback on all areas of the #washpostlife, including leadership. Increasingly important (and exciting) place to work!

Pros

Post employees are truly a family. Since I've started here, I have received so much help and support while I adjust to my new position. Our work is increasingly important these days, and I am so proud of my colleagues and their groundbreaking work.

Cons

The retirement plan and parental leave policies could be improved.
