Washington Post Intern Review

Pros

Definitely a good balance of work and life. Everyone is friendly and there is definitely a strong sense of community within the Post. The engineering side has been growing pretty rapidly, so a lot of room for growth both as an employee and the company itself. I interned in their new office on K street near McPherson Square, and it is a beautiful building, and the Post has their own Penthouse for employees and that was always nice.

Cons

Don't have much to say here, as I only interned for a couple months. The team that I worked on was rather small, working on a smaller web project. I wasn't able to work alongside other interns, which I felt was an obstacle, so I advise that the Post have a stronger program designed for their interns.
