Pros

The mission. Work life balance is solid. The great people and culture outside of upper management.

Cons

The past couple of years at The Post have had one self-inflicted disaster after another. This place was great if a little underpaying but I fear that time is coming to a rapid end through mismanagement at the highest levels. The constant gaslighting doesn't help either. Too performers are being driven from the company at an accelerating pace. My ratings are likely to get lower if this keeps up without improvement.

Pros

Opportunity for ownership, fast learning, fun culture.

Cons

Left hanging, management will ignore workload complaints and bandwidth issues, large pay discrepancies between employees in the same roles.

Great company, terrible comp plan

Pros

One of the best news brands out there. Most innovative news company in terms of technology enablement. The people who work here are amazing colleagues.

Cons

Comp plan for sales is below par. Newer employees being brought in are paid better, I left because they changed the comp plan and lowballed my base salary while assigning unrealistic growth goals. Wasn't going to toil with low pay to make Jeff Bezos richer. Benefits aren't great either. Not a ton of career growth opportunity compared to larger media companies.
