Thank you for taking time to write a review. We love hearing about our employees’ experiences. Thanks for the feedback. You mentioned poor communication from management. We take this seriously and strive to develop strong leaders/managers. To that end, we launched The Leadership Project, a series of ongoing development opportunities for all leaders across The Post, this year. Thank you again for the feedback and for choosing to be part of The Washington Post team!

Pros

Great brand name, historic company, good benefits, gym, stable media company that makes money.

Cons

Not much opportunity to advance if you work at Corporate. The managers are pretty senior and it's hard to displace them.

Pros

Great work-life balance - you get at least three weeks paid vacation and 15 sick days on top of it and generally management doesn't hassle you about utilizing all those days to the fullest. Very laid-back atmosphere - easy to feel comfortable here

Cons

Not a place for young people looking for aggressive career growth and challenges. At its heart, the WP is a very old school company that is best suited for older people.
