Cons

The communication within YMCA stinks. Never knew what was going on. So much gossip and drama among employees about managemet positions.

Pros

You get to be around great people, help the community, colleagues are great! benefits packages often very good, especially ymca retirement. great opportunites for training. access to facilities for family is great for overall well-being.

Cons

Pay is terrible compared to hours worked, no work-life balance, you feel like you are on call 24-7. Little recognition or praise from management. Tough to ask for days off.
