The new CEO lacks leadership skills. He hired his friends in senior management positions and now the organization is a mess. They don’t know the true Zappos Culture and the core values don't matter. They only care about making money and don't care about individual employees. There is nasty politics happening and lots of micromanaging. If you are not in the “circle of trust” you are looked down upon. The creativity and individuality are gone. It’s sad to see the decline of Zappos. It is surprising Amazon has not fully absorbed the company.
