Working at TheKey, LLC has proven to be a challenging and frustrating experience. The company frequently changes its standard operating procedures (SOPs), leading to confusion and a lack of stability in the workplace. Management displayed an inconsistent approach to leadership, often lacking clear direction and exhibiting favoritism towards certain employees.
The most disturbing incident occurred in September 2024 when over 40 employees were laid off unexpectedly. Employees were lured into a Zoom meeting under the guise of earning attendance buyback points and to learn new software,(that software was used to eliminate our jobs) only to discover it was a deceptive tactic used for mass layoffs. Those who were favored by management received an extension to find new jobs, while others were left without support.
The compensation at TheKey is not competitive, and caregivers—who are vital to the company’s operations—were treated poorly, as well. The company's attempts to buy out competitors did not translate into shared benefits for employees, fueling a sense of greed within the organization. Moreover, the multitude of confusing portals and shifting SOPs made it increasingly difficult for staff to perform their duties effectively.
The contact center management was particularly problematic; the "big" manager was often rude and is acyually inexperienced in call center operations. Overall, TheKey, LLC fails to create a positive work environment, and I would not recommend seeking employment here....EVER!
