Pros

Not many other than being able to work remotely & free product at times

Cons

Therabody operates like it isn’t even a real company. They like to attribute the chaos to being a new company, but realistically they’ve been around since 2008 and also have gotten enough funding to figure things out if they actually cared to. Every day is a mess, and they expect a lot from employees for how little they pay. There’s EXTREMELY high turnover, and way too many people in leadership positions who have no business leading anything. People seem to get laid off/fired all the time, and every month is a fire drill to try to hit sales goals. They desperately want to position themselves as a cool work hard, play hard start up and seem blind to the fact that they peaked during the pandemic. There are some cool people, but the overall culture is toxic (especially for a wellness company) and I absolutely would not recommend unless you have no other choice.

Pros

The office was in a nice part of town despite the building operating terribly.

Cons

This is exactly the kind of toxic work place you hear about. They operate like an enmeshed dysfunctional family where everyone has to agree with and support the founders every whim. He thinks he know everything and won't let people do what they're hired to do. Often berating and belittling anyone he talks to. If you are comfortable in an extremely toxic, fake, insecure, anxious environment where collaboration and team work is more to sabotage and fire people that actually show up to work, you may thrive here. Otherwise there is no career advancement or job satisfaction. My trainer wouldn't let me do anything. When I asked where they keep office supplies, the response was, "what's that?". And I think she was making 6 figures possibly and it looked like it was her 1st job. HR is there to prevent the non-dealers and people there to actually work from staying. Calling it a bad culture fit. This company will crumble because there is no structure. Just the ego of the founder and now c-suite.
