Theragun is such a fantastic product and the founder is a caring and deeply passionate guy, the company tries to innovate but everything is really still about Theragun, rest of the portfolio, pretty average
Cons
Terrible culture, it’s been bad for a while with a HUGE amount of lay offs in 2022, multiple times during the year. Those lay offs have caused lots of distrust of in leadership. Lots of cliques that promote and protect their own including leadership. Much change through early 2023 but none for the better, it may have gotten worse. Young, vibrate, creative and non-hierarchical has been replaced by a much older, hierarchical, old fashioned culture, it’s just not the same place to work anymore. Everybody avoids the LA office wherever possible. No thought is given to work life balance or having a life outside of Therabody. Nobody can talk to HR as everyone knows there is no impartiality and what’s discussed could be used against them in the future, many feel this way
