My particular department is very easy going, flexible and supportive of each other. Time off is given very easily (as long as you have it in your coffer) Come and go as you please, as long as the work load is completed

Health benefits have been slashed Management is not in tune with the realities of the floor More importance is repeatedly given to " the share holder" (which most life tech employees are, but are not recognized as such) than to the employees The day-to-day is a numbers game played by "bean-counters" who are detached from the realities of science and production. Most products pull in upwards of 90% return, yet we are constantly informed that we need to increase that. This is a biotech giant and it acts as such No union in the work force 5 to 1 management to producer ratio
