The training is pretty straightforward and on the job. Not much progression from previous roles. Said to be preparing for managers but its not

Cons

Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve our training curriculum -- it's critical that it not only prepares you for your role and responsibilities but that it gives you transferable real-world skills that you can continue building on. We provide an environment where you can be the architect of your own future, offering programs that allow you to deep-dive into topics you want to work on from our internal resources and an allowance to leverage external resources as well. Part of that support comes from your manager as well. We'd be curious to hear how you feel our managers and leaders can best support you and our colleagues, so please feel free to reach out to team@thirdbridge.com to share more.

Pros

You receive a lot of P&L responsibility quite quickly. In the first 1-3 months it's a lot of phone work, but this is part of the training, so you can take on your own client projects as quickly as possible so it's absolutely worth it and a useful skill for future roles internal and external. If you perform well, there's no arbitrary time delay on progression. Some grads gain project management and client-facing skills and move on, and others progress to Manager/AVP/VP within 1.5-4 years. Great office location next to Spitalfields.

Cons

It takes some getting used to when you first join, as it's very fast-paced and only really strong work prevails. Some evening work on occasion, but it comes with working in financial services. A few past middle managers ill-equipped, but majority of promotions in last 2 years absolutely deserved with clear focus on people management and development.
