Great place to start your career

Pros

-Lots of responsibility from an early stage: within 3 months at the company you have direct client interactions and are tasked with building a book of business. -Great colleagues: young, motivated, energetic. -Good working environment: we are given a very high level of autonomy considering how early we are in our careers. I can't imagine another place where entry level employees receive so much freedom to accomplish their tasks. -Very fast progression: if you delivery on your work and are mature and professional, management takes notice. -Management: I have no idea who is writing the reviews below saying Management sucks??? The CEO, COO and Head of Americas are all super impressive and, more to the point, straightforward with the Research floor.

Cons

-The work itself can get repetitive pretty quickly. I'm sure that's why Management is working to promote this as a 2-year analyst program to jump start your career - they know there is a shelf-life. -Target-driven: it's a business that has growth targets, so you will have monthly targets. This doesn't bother me, but I can see how it's not for everyone.

Pros

- Decent base salary - Fun, young group of kids

Cons

- It is fairly obvious that HR reps and/or high paid individuals/mgmt. leave 5 star reviews, here, to bolster the overall firm rating. Try sifting through the GD reviews and see if you can tell which are left genuinely (I do not think they will refute this in response). - Not a research position - Nonexistent upper management - PE-backed w/ little hesitation to squeeze entry-levels to make up for the cost of poor process - Severely inexperienced floor managers - Dated tech. infrastructure acts as a roadblock to daily processes - Business model is reliant on churn/turnover

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. To clarify, while we encourage employees to leave reviews on Glassdoor, HR does not write reviews ourselves—except when sharing their own perspectives as employees. Our goal is to foster open, candid feedback, and we genuinely appreciate hearing from those who have had or are currently having a positive experience. Regarding management, it is true that we often have first time managers , as we take pride in promoting from within. Many, if not all, have firsthand experience in the entry-level roles you mentioned before stepping into a management position. Each new Manager participates in a comprehensive training programme, which continues as they grow into their roles. We recognise that leadership development takes time, and we remain committed to continuously reviewing and enhancing our training and resources to ensure all employees feel fully supported.

Pros

- Helps foster soft skills (communication, time management, balancing multiple projects) - Supportive team - Decent compensation for the work you do (higher than market average) - Potential to network with clients once promoted to PM/Manager (moreso on PE side than consulting side) - Good room for growth within the company (not many skills transferrable to other companies/industries, though)

Cons

- Ramp period is tough; focus on getting to PM level as soon as possible, otherwise the quota will become impossible to reach. - Very soft skills oriented role - Hard to pivot into other industries/roles for future roles - Very little focus on quality or relationship building, only efficiency and speed - Treats experts as disposable, will do anything for the client but don't care about experts - Very high turnover rate, most people leave within a year or get fired after getting put on PIP - Clients would cancel calls last minute or pivot unexpectedly - Quota based on billed hours, not experts added to network/selected - Very mundane work (mass email outreach, cold calling/messaging) - Not much of a work culture - Competing against 6 other companies for client research calls ("rat race") - Even though you can, don't take PTO early on! - You are disposable - Each office has its own work culture, siloed

Hi, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet your expectations. I’d like to provide some clarity on a few points you mentioned regarding our dedication to employees, clients, and specialists. Our business model is designed to support clients in their investment decisions, which often involves follow-ups, cold calling, and adapting to shifting priorities. Our specialists are integral to our product. Beyond compensating them for their work, we actively gather feedback to improve their experience and engagement. For our employees, we aim to help associates transition to project managers (PMs) as quickly as possible, enabling them to build strong client relationships. While PTO is encouraged, we recommend using it after training and ramping into the role to ensure a smooth start. We acknowledge the competitive nature of our industry and believe it fosters growth and career development. Many former employees have shared success stories of how their experiences at Third Bridge opened doors to new opportunities. Lastly, we value employee morale and culture. Through regular surveys and action plans, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment. While office cultures may vary globally, this reflects our diverse teams and locations! Thank you again for your feedback.
