Pros

The people are friendly to work with, everyone is willing to help each other. I really like the culture in third bridge.

Cons

Although it is good choice for the fresh graduate, it's not the perfect place for the long time growth. As we don't grow the perspective of strategy and we can just be a generalist.

Pros

This position/company really taught me what I absolutely do not want in an employer, which is a pro I suppose. They had fresh fruit in the office, and it was relatively central. I learned how to cold call people and not give an ish.

Cons

Where do I start... I've only worked at Third Bridge for a short while, two years ago, so things might have changed for the better, but the people who made my time there unpleasant are still there. After two years and working for different companies and industries I can say for certain that Third Bridge was one of the worst professional experiences I had to go through. The only thing I remember doing was trawling through LinkedIn, sending the same e-mail over and over, and cold calling people several hours a day. I, unfortunately, worked with a region where people absolutely despise being cold called but was not allowed to change my strategy approach in those regions. This job has nothing to do with "analysis" or "research", it is simply a recruitment position. If the company was actually honest about the work that has to be done, they might actually get some people in who are interested in their job. The high turnover doesn't come from nowhere and I am sure a little honesty would not only decrease people leaving in droves but would also reduce the resources spent on hiring people. The worst thing is probably how belittling my manager was. She would use the "feedback" sessions we had to berate me. As this was my first job, I did not know if this was simply how managers were or if this was low -level abuse. I also don't think I actually did that bad of a job as I've received only praise for my work from subsequent employers. Third Bridge has absolutely no vested interested in developing and nurturing talent whatsoever. Like all companies, they are interested in making money. This is all fine and well, but if your company culture leads managers to berate new hires in meeting rooms, you might want to rethink your strategy. I have been lucky enough to work with managers who know how to conduct themselves in a professional manner, and who are able to give feedback without it being personal.
