Work environment is fairly relaxed. Colleagues are also very friendly. HR policies are also pretty employee friendly

Cons

I worked for the CMR team at Thomson Reuters. The work is extremely boring and there is hardly any career growth. The place is very hierarchical. Senior management is only bothered about meeting targets and have almost no respect for long term employees

Cons

No regard for people, in cost cutting mode, no employee loyalty, constant change and stress as they work you to the bone! They push a liberal agenda.

Pros

Good people - great lasting relationships, better than average benefits, you feel empowered to make things happen. For a non-bank/broker in the financial services industry, the pay is pretty good without the loss of life/work balance that most banks have.

Cons

Top management thrashes far too much. It's common saying around the office - if you don't like this reorganization then just wait a couple of months. Unfortunately this is too true.
