      Great people but the culture is getting toxic

      Pros

      Enjoyed working with capable, intelligent colleagues. The company puts forward the appearance of wanting to be better and address employee concerns.

      Cons

      There has been a never-ending string of layoffs and reorgs for years. Instead of addressing the issues, they are rearranging the furniture. The products need to be more relevant in order to provide for the success of the company. The culture has turned sour and people have a real fear for their jobs.

      Pros

      If you are a masochist who enjoys being degraded, humiliated and discriminated against on a daily basis, this is the place for you. If not, stay away.

      Cons

      A culture of fear and oppression whereby management turns a blind eye to daily oppression and discrimination by executives and everyone seems too afraid to speak up out of fear of being the next target. Low wages (with raises never keeping up with any real measure of inflation), terrible (and quickly declining) benefits, lack of appreciation for your work, etc.

      management only cares about bottom line, don't hire enough people to answer phones. way of keeping track of performance is out dated, doesn't really apply. asking for time off feels like it's frowned upon, even if spouse or someone important or you have to go to the hospital.
