Pros

Cafeteria in 3 Times Square is decent. Convenient midtown location. Lots of young people to socialize with.

Cons

Human Resources is a disaster. The HRBPs are unpleasant and disdainful of the general employee population. Many of the HR personnel have little knowledge of employment law, state and federal regulations, short-term disability, health benefits and other essential HR functions. Layoffs are frequent. Global mobility is atrocious - anyone who comes to work in the US from overseas is likely to be severely inconvenienced due to the ineptitude of the HR staff in both the US and abroad.

Pros

Great People, Great Scenery, Decent earning potential

Cons

Benefits downgrade each year, 0-1% Salary increase in record profit years. You are just a number and will fire you at the bat of an eye. The company openely expresses the need to change the current sales model since it is not working and claim they realize it is VERY difficult to make sales numbers, yet since April (6 months) they have fired 31 of 95 salespeople for this reason. That is 5 each month. Every 1st of the month the topic of conversation is who all got walked out today. I know 3 people that have been here for more than 3 years. I heard one sales person comment to an employee that moved to sales"why would you do that? That's the fastrack to the unemployment line".

Pros

Good people, flexible work arrangements (depending on your manager)

Cons

Don't plan on reading any more positive comments about the benefits TR offers. They just slashed all their employees health benefits. Basically they are providing major medical coverage. You now have to pay a penalty if your spouse/partner are on the companies plan if they are offered coverage thru their employer. No more copays, you pay the full amount of your medical costs until you hit the high deductibles. It's sad how this company is failing.
